Beach Life is a series of work currently on tour across the UK with Little Van Gogh. Inspired by both landscape, urban art, colour and movement, Eves' work tries to capture not only the essence of the moment but to record its historical footprint. The many layers of his work not only record the passing of time for the artist and the process of making, but play on the narrative and concept of urban decay. Many of the pieces reflect this as his main working subject, tying his work to the repetition of the tides and the natural world. Like our own development the work is continually created and destroyed until the final composition is completed.
